What does GIGANT mean?

The most powerful engines are the Gigants in Hungary. This engine was constructed in the early 70's and since then they play an important role in the structure of the Hungarian National Railway (MAV). The most of them manufactured in the mid 80's and some of them modified for 160km/h maximal velocity.
